The climate of Barbuda

In terms of size and inhabitants, Barbuda is the second island of the country Barbuda and Antigua. The largest and only town on the island is Codrington. In total, about 1500 people live on the island. Unlike its bigger brother Antigua, Barbuda lives more from fishing and agriculture than from tourism. The tourists who come there will have to do without too much luxury. There are only a few shops and restaurants on the island, which mainly sell local items. The beaches there are fantastic.

According to citypopulationreview, Barbuda has a tropical savanna climate. In the second half of the year, the average rainfall is higher than the rest of the year, so it can feel clammy and muggy during this period. Tropical storms and hurricanes can occur during this time. In the drier period there is still quite a bit of rain on average, which ensures that the island is beautifully green all year round. The daytime temperature is around 30 degrees Celsius all year round.
