UCI Mountain Bike World Cup – Hafjell Norway

The largest male MTB-star Emil Lindgren was close to being the best in the world after the World Cup in Hafjell Norway today was inaugurated with sprint. It was a dramatic finale where Emil oehört was close to being pulled down early after a takeoff crash. And at the finish the small again. But thanks to Emil is one of the world’s most skilled engineers, he managed to sort out both crisis situations and salvaging a silver home to Säter.

It was a slightly cursed Emil who crossed the finish line, and we understand why. It was just as well could have been gold. But we both hope and think that Emil still will benefit from her silver high as soon as he breathed out and reflected on his first world championship medal. We are insanely excited! Unfortunately, there was no final for Matthias W, qualified in second place. On a seventh place finishing on the other hand, another Emil, firmly with Linde as surname.

In the women’s class was the jump to our star Jenny Rissveds. She started kvalandet strong but never got any real contact with the top in the final. And in the last curve before the finish, she had the misfortune to be involved in a crash with the Norwegian Ingrid Jacobsen who stole the bronze in front of Jenny. Another bright spot in the women’s class was Kajsa Snihs, who finished eight. The reigning world champion in the sprint, Alexandra Engen has notoriously taken time out and will not compete more this season.

About 1.3 cm had Emil credited as starting the crash was a fact.

Fabrice Mels come from Belgium, which had a clear third place at the time, got a gold medal now thrown in your face when Kevin Miquel went in reverse and was about to pull out of the case. Emil.

Jenny Rissveds saw convincing all the way to the final.

Just like in the last finals in men’s small curve also for the ladies, unfortunately to the detriment of Jenny Rissveds.
