71 ª Exam Cycling July 9th Will Be The Attraction On Sunday

The most traditional and important dispute in Latin America will gather athletes in three categories

The best of national cycling will be assembled in Sao Paulo next Sunday. The reason is the realization of the 71 ª Cycling International exam July 9th, one of the most traditional and important disputes in the national calendar. Athletes of three categories, aspiring, federated and Elite, will face the challenge by streets and avenues of São Paulo, with dumped and arrival on Avenida Lineu de Paula Machado, in front of the Jockey Club of São Paulo.

The aspiring platoon will open the lineup, with dumped at 6:45 and a 45.4 km circuit. The male elite will leave at 9:00 a.m. to a total course of 113, 5km. Shortly thereafter, at 9h02, the federated athletes will go 90.8 km. The women’s platoon (elite and Federated) will have the drop at 9:05 to cover the total path of 68, 1km.

With water bottles as cycling equipment, this Saturday, July 8th, the organisation will hold the last technical Congress for the registered athletes. The presentations will be held from 10 to 5pm, at the Teatro Cásper Libero, located on Avenida Paulista, 900. The event is mandatory to competitors of the aspiring category, but it is also open to federated and professionals.

The 9th July Cycling is one of the main attractions of the city of São Paulo’s sporting calendar and each season has been recording new feats. The year of 2015 marked the lap of the evidence to the streets of São Paulo. In 2016, it reached the number of 2,129 participants and, with this, it became the cycling test with the largest number of participants in Brazil.

In the past edition, Joel Prado Jr (Green Bike/Piracicaba) secured the bichampionships, while among women the Parana Daniela Robert Laza (Funvic Soul cycles/São José dos Campos), took the best and conquered the first title in the dispute.

The 71 ª Proof Cycling International July 9th is a realization of the Sports Gazette, with promotion of Fundação Cásper Libero and technical organisation of the Paulista de Cycling Federation. The sponsorship is Max Titanium, with support of Divena vehicles.
